Selections hosted its very first in person job fair on November 24, 2022 at the Delta Hotel South, and it was a huge success! The team worked hard up until the event to secure 6 employers and spread the word to clients in all three of our employment programs. The organization of the event contributed to its success as there were 24 client attendees interested in speaking to multiple employers, resulting in a total of 70 interviews. The employers who attended were: Italian Center, Delta Hotels, Airtek, Alien Design, Randstad and Gentleman Pro’s. Feedback from the event was astoundingly positive and both employers and clients expressed they would be happy to attend another similar event in the future. We are excited to see if the career fair brought on new placements for our individuals, and we will strive to create more inclusive opportunities for employers to network and diversify their workforces.
