SELECTIONS is a non-profit agency dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities find their place in our community; whether in employment, volunteer or educational opportunities. We believe that every one of us has a contribution to make to improve our community.
Objectives
SELECTIONS assists each individual in making career choices.
SELECTIONS provides assistance and support to each individual and every employer as required.
SELECTIONS addresses all facets of each individual’s life (home. leisure, educational, and social) as they
relate to the work situation.
SELECTIONS supports each individual towards community based vocational involvement.
SELECTIONS provides the least intrusive amount of support required for each individual to be successful in
his/her vocational situation and to achieve increased independence.
SELECTIONS encourages each individual to become socially involved in the work place.
SELECTIONS advocates that every employer provide job opportunities and natural consequences for each
individual.
SELECTIONS requires every employer to provide equitable remuneration to each individual he/she employs.
